Conference theme:   Hydrocolloids in the Food System: From sustainable ingredients to healthy foods

We have a busy schedule with 9 Plenary and Invited Speakers, 71 oral presentations, 19 Flash presentations and 59 posters. 

We are pleased to announce that the Food Hydrocolloids Trust Medal Lecture will be given by Professor Henk A. Schols from Wageningen University and the G.O. Phillips Young Scientist Award Lecture will be given by Professor Arno Wouters from KU Leuven, Belgium.

Please note that Posters should be a maximum of 118.9 cm in height and 84.1cm in width (equivalent to AO paper size in portrait). There will be prizes for the best three Posters as judged by a panel of Academics and Industrialists.

All Oral and Poster presenters are encouraged to submit manuscripts for inclusion in the Conference Proceedings which will be published as a Special Issue of the Food Hydrocolloids Journal. Professors Markus Stieger, Elke Scholten and Costas Nikiforidis are the Guest Editors and all manuscripts will be subjected to the normal peer review process. The Food Hydrocolloids website is now open for manuscript submissions and the closing date is October 1st 2025.
